Your claim must be received by us no later than the expiry date of your Home Warranty Certificate or Renovation Warranty Certificate coverage period.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chwpp.ca\/sk\/contact-us\/\">Contact us<\/a> to receive a copy of the &#8220;file a claim&#8221; form<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You must also provide written notice to your homebuilder including details of any specific defects covered by your Home Warranty Certificate<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-panel panel-default\"><div class=\"panel-heading\"><h4 class=\"panel-title toggle\"><a aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"a0499392a783e8be1\" role=\"button\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-parent=\"#accordion-1270-1\" data-target=\"#a0499392a783e8be1\" href=\"#a0499392a783e8be1\"><span class=\"fusion-toggle-icon-wrapper\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><i class=\"fa-fusion-box\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/span><span class=\"fusion-toggle-heading\">What is the claims assessment process?<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div><div id=\"a0499392a783e8be1\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse \"><div class=\"panel-body toggle-content fusion-clearfix\">\n<div id=\"cn_3\" class=\"CommentContent\">\n<p>Upon receipt of your claim, we\u2019ll confirm we\u2019ve received it and will review the submitted details.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s determined that your claim is not valid or not covered under the Home Warranty Certificate, we\u2019ll notify you of the decision in writing, setting out the reasons for the decision.<\/p>\n<p>We will contact the homebuilder to review your claim issues and report back on their findings. Sometimes, a third party or one of our Claim Assessors will conduct the assessment and once we\u2019ve reviewed all details, will notify you of what is covered under your warranty policy, setting out the reasons for the decision(s).<\/p>\n<p>If necessary, repairs to defects will be undertaken in a timely manner, with reasonable consideration given to weather conditions and the availability of materials and labour.<\/p>\n<p>On completion of any repairs, we\u2019ll deliver a copy of the repair specifications to you, along with a letter confirming the date the repairs were completed and referencing the warranty on repairs and replacements.
